In the north east of Victoria is a vast expanse of mountain wilderness haunted by the legend of bushranger Ned Kelly. Today this region is also home to some of Australia's finest and most historic wineries. It also boasts some of this country's leading ski resorts: Falls Creek, Mt Hotham, Dinner Plain, Mt Buffalo and Mt Buller. In summer it is the place for adventure amid the twisted snow gums, rocky outcrops and running streams.
When the oval appears, the places have accompanying photographs and greater detail about the type of accommodation.
